CONSTANT RELATIVE ABUNDANCE

Polyhedral structures that are stabilized by triangulation have certain topological properties: for every non-polar vertex there are always 2 faces and 3 edges. As in other mathematical questions, Fuller provides a metaphysical interpretation of this regularity.

Any 2 vertices can be selected as the axis of spin, the remaining set of vertices is divided by 2, giving the above rule. The number 2 does not represent the same thing in each case: they represent, respectively, additive and multiplicative twoness.
